Wattle Range Council News

SAPOL will be hosting a free workshop to help local businesses and community groups deal with difficult or aggressive customers at 11:30am on Tuesday 9th March 2021 in the Millicent RSL Hall, North Terrace. The workshop is a result of strong discussions held at the recent Central Limestone Coast Liquor License Accord meeting, with many licence holders being businesses and community sporting clubs reporting a rise in aggressive customers, especially regarding COVID compliance.

This workshop is specifically for businesses and organisations that deal with the general public. It will provide participants with effective tools for dealing with difficult situations in a safe, calm and reasonable manner.

To RSVP please provide your full name, contact number, and organisation you are representing to the Millicent Wattle Range Council office on 8733 0900 by 12 noon on Monday 8th March. Due to COVID requirements the WRC have limited space.

Further information contact Sarah Marzec, Community Development Officer, on 8733 0900 or email sjm@wattlerange.sa.gov.au
